This morning I was fortunate enough to recieve a kong roller fresh into my bowl of rice krispies, just like on the adverts where the little packet falls neatly onto the top of the cereal! And yes it was kong himself!!!
So i opened him up and set about trying to get this magical little creature rolling along and springing open and into action to scare off mr and mrs tyranosaurus rex!
The Kong Roller’s are taken from the “characters” in King Kong the epic movie thriller which i thoroughly enjoyed. These little plastic toys are just one of the many pieces of movie merchandise out there, and what pieces of crap!
Low and behold though, a major design flaw.
The simple aim of these Kong Rollers are to be folded up and they click into place. When you roll the kong roller it is supposed to roll over and push in a little button. Unfortunately this doesnt work for three reasons:
1) The weight of the object isn’t heavy enough to activate the button to open the kong.
2) The button cannot be depressed enough.
3) The spring within the button is far too powerful for the small toy.
If you fancy a go on the game, head on over to Kelloggs.co.uk
It’s such a shame that such bollocks comes from such a great film.
