Generally speaking I walk past this driveway on the way to and from work. I always find it fairly strange how these people managed to build this driveway without wondering how they get into their house.
The driveway is large enough to park two cars with a nice bit of room to get in and out of the cars on either side.
The thing I have the problem with is the lack of access to the house, which would probably be my first requirement.
As you can see there is a garage on either side. I have decided on a number of ways that the owners of this house use the driveway:
1. Leaping from the patio onto the car to get to the car, and alle-ooping onto the car and over the fence to get back to the house.
2. Walk all the way around the entire row of houses to the front door.
3. Walk through the neighbours garages and hop the fence
4. A number of the bricks can be temporarily pushed in to reveal a laddered structure within the wall face
5. Bungie ropes, trampolines and giant springs.
6. The entire driveway is on a hydraulic lift.
Well, i’m pretty sure the last two aren’t feasibly possible. But it could be an excellent, batman-esque, start to the day!!!
